Greater Midland Announces Opening Date of New Midland Community Center
New Greater Midland Community Center Set to Open its Doors on May 15, 2024
Greater Midland is excited to announce the official opening date of the highly anticipated Midland Community Center, Wednesday, May 15. Designed with the community in mind, this state-of-the-art Center will serve as a dynamic hub for community engagement, wellness, and enrichment to enhance the quality of life for individuals and families of all ages and backgrounds.
Featuring a diverse range of modern amenities, the new Greater Midland Community Center includes a cutting-edge fitness center, an indoor multi-use pool, courts for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball, versatile multipurpose spaces for seniors, programming and events, dedicated early childhood and education classrooms and much more. This investment emphasizes Greater Midland's commitment to the health and well-being of the Midland community, offering a welcoming space to come together, stay active, and foster connections.

Johnson expressed enthusiasm for unveiling the new Community Center, emphasizing its role in fostering a sense of belonging, health, and vitality within the community. The Greater Midland Community Center will host short welcome receptions at 10 AM and 6 PM on May 15 to celebrate the opening day. Attendees can meet the staff, explore the Center through guided tours, and learn about membership and program options.
