SAFETY AT CAMP
Greater Midland Summer Camps are dedicated to ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To ensure the highest of standards, we follow strict state licensing regulations and continually review our camper's health, wellness and safety procedures. Low staff-camper ratios allow counselors to focus on keeping your camper safe and engaged throughout their camp experience.

CAMP STAFF

At Greater Midland, our camp staff is carefully chosen for their expertise in youth development and specific areas of interest. Our dedicated counselors focus on enhancing campers' self-esteem, social skills, and independence. Prior to each season, all camp staff undergo extensive training, totaling over 30 hours. This training equips them with the knowledge and skills to effectively engage, teach, and supervise campers. Additionally, our camp staff undergo thorough background checks to ensure a safe and secure environment for every camper!

Greater Midland Kids Fund

family phot 3.jpg

In our community, generations of kids have had the opportunity to attend a Greater Midland Summer Camp. While we’ve always provided assistance to low-income families, our resources have been stretched thin as the need has grown.

There are still many families here that cannot afford this experience and are being left behind. There’s a way to help, a donation to Greater Midland Kid’s Fund!

Studies show that for every dollar invested in preschool, teen and family support programs, the community receives at least a $7 return through reduction in crime, education savings, and taxes on future earning. Every dollar you donate helps a child come back to the community seven-fold. Your gift could guarantee an amazing camp experience for a child right here in Midland!
