Run the River | 5K Run & 5K Walk | 1 MILE RUN on the Chippewa Trail (other side of the Tridge)
Part of River Days, the must-attend event of a Midland summer!  Join us at the Tridge for an evening run, hot air balloons and so much more! 

RUN FOR THE PINT! Part of Midland Area River Days Festival, the must-attend event of a Midland summer!  Join us at the Tridge for an evening run, hot air balloons and so much more! RUN FOR THE PINT at Run the River powered by Preferred Chiropractic of Midland! Run and walk participants receive a glass & complimentary drink ticket for the Rotary Tent.

Lowest price through April 15. Increases occur on April 16, July 1 and August 1. Fees are Non-Refundable / Non-Transferrable

*RTR is part of the Midland Triple Challenge (5K and 1M Options). Register for the Triple Challenge (all 3 races with one registration) and secure your extra swag (extra medal and wearable!)

We race Rain or Shine! Packet Pick-Up Friday, August 1 at the Tridge from 5-6:35PM.

6:40PM 1 MILE RUN (ALL)

7:00PM 5K RUN Male Wave
7:05PM 5K RUN Female Wave
7:10PM 5K WALK (ALL)

Register early for the best deal! Online Registration is open until Midnight, Thursday, July 31!

Late registration will be open Friday, August 1 from 5:00-6:15PM before the race takes place at the Tridge!!!  

Bring your family and enjoy a full evening of festival excitement! Enjoy zip-lining, the bungee jumper, and the climbing wall. Wander through the Art Fair and Marker’s Market while being entertained by live music. At 9:00 PM, the traditional Balloon Glow will light up Chippewassee Park and then make it a wrap with the outdoor movie behind The H Hotel.   • Awards to top 3 male & female overall & masters finishers in 5K Run

  • Awards to top 3 male & female overall finishers in 5K Walk

  • Awards to top finisher in each division 5K Run (M/F): 9 & under*, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+

  • 1 MILE awards for our youngest participants (ages 14 & under):

    • Award to top boy & girl overall finishers in 1 Mile Run

    • Awards to top boy & girl finisher in each division 1 Mile Run: 6 & under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-14
