The Greater Midland North Family Center in partnership with Midland Evangelical Free Church hosted a free back-to-school event on Saturday, August 19. The congregation at MEFC collected backpacks and various school supplies for 100 children in Northern Midland County.

Families who attended the free event enjoyed lunch, crafts, and a bounce house. Students were able to pick out their own backpack filled with age appropriate school supplies. “We are grateful to the church for recognizing the need and giving kids a bright start to the 2017-2018 school year,” said Terrah Johnson, executive director.

A special thank you to the Midland Evangelical Free Church for improving the lives of students in Northern Midland County.
